چکیده
Wireless networks suffer from batteries going run out. A way to overcome this serious problem is to use energy harvested from RF signals to charge the nodes’ batteries. In this work, a source node communicates with a destination during multiple relays which are energy constrained. These intermediate nodes have the ability to harvest energy from the source signal and use the energy harvested to transmit information to the destination, and proposed that each relay uses multiple antennas that can harvest energy from RF signals. Two relaying protocols were investigated: time switching based relaying protocol (TSR) and power splitting based relaying protocol (PSR) with delay-limited and delay-tolerant transmissions. Special formulas were used to calculate the outage probability and ergodic capacity inorder to evaluate the throughput for delay-limited and delay-tolerant transmissions respectively for both TSR and PSR protocols. The previous works assume results for single relay, however, this conference concentrates on multi-relay and multi-antenna system and the parameters such as SNR and outage probability were derived for TSR and PSR protocols. According to our results when using multi-antenna, the ability of energy harvesting is increased, and thus, the system performance will be improved to a great extent. A selection relay scheme was used where the destination chooses a group of relays and antennas with satisfying the require SNR. MATLAB simulations were employed to test performance of the system and the effect of some parameters on throughput was also investigated such as antenna noise, conversion noise, source-relay distance, and energy harvesting efficiency. Also in this conference, the MRC(Maximum Ratio Combining) technique has been used to improve throughput.کلیدواژه ها
