چکیده مقاله:
Predicting the Joule–Thomson inversion curves of natural gas mixtures is important inproduction, processing, storage and transportation. One consequence of the effect may be thecooling of natural gas in pipelines under pressure drop, which can lead to undesirableglaciations of pipelines[1]. The Joule–Thomson inversion curve (JTIC) is defined as the locusof the points where the Joule–Thomson coefficient becomes zero: ???????? T, P, and H are the fluid’s temperature, pressure, and enthalpy, respectively. Sign of the JTcoefficient determines whether the temperature of a real gas increases or decreases byisenthalpic expansion[2]. The objective of the present paper is prediction of natural mixturesJTIC by SAFT and PC-SAFT EOS.
