QTAIM Investigation of the Adsorption of Carbon Dioxide on the Imidazolium Based Ionic liquid with Amino Acidic Anion

Global carbon dioxide (CO2) emission, caused by escalating of the energy uses, may resultsin a series of the environmental problems such as anomalous climate changes and a rising ofthe sea level [1]. CO2 capture by ILs is of interest because [2] they can be potentiallydesigned with low losses due to volatility, degradation and corrosion. Also, less energy isneeded for the regeneration of ILs. In this research, we investigated the structure andphysicochemical properties of the [Emim][Lys] using the DFT calculations.
