خلاصه مقاله:
The current research aimed to find out whether there is a relationship betweenIranian EFL learners’ multiple intelligences (MI) and their oral English proficiency.To achieve the goal, the researcher has selected 62 male and female EFL studentsranging from 18 to 33 from the Islamic Azad University of Arak as the subjects of thestudy. The researcher has applied a Quick language proficiency test (QPT), aquestionnaire to measure the subjects' multiple intelligences, and a speaking test toassess the oral performance. In order to find out the relationship between thevariables, the data was analyzed by using Spearman correlation coefficient andPearson correlation coefficient. The results demonstrated that although there is asignificant relationship between some categories of multiple intelligences withIranian EFL learners' oral English proficiency, no correlation was observedbetween the total intelligences and oral proficiency
