چکیده
In-service training programs are intended to address the issues which occur in teachers’practice. Therefore, it is necessary to scrutinize these programs to determine whether theyfulfill the objectives formulated for them. To this point, there was a need to develop aframework which could be applied to evaluate these programs. The development of aconceptual framework was the initial step. To generate the items, the literature was reviewed.The review involved recognizing in-service training issues relevant to English teachersthrough electronic and hard copy journal articles, trustworthy websites, and in-service trainingdepartments. Thereafter, the initial questionnaire was developed and sequentially evaluated byan expert panel to establish its content and face validity. The 46 items formed a questionnaireand was administered to 80 English teachers to perform item analysis and establish itsconstruct validity and the reliability. Accordingly, an In- Service Teacher Training ProgramQuestionnaire with content, face, and construct validities and internal consistency of 8.4 wasdeveloped to be applied in evaluation of in-service training programs.کلیدواژه ها
