چکیده

In the past two decades, the use of green walls and also spaces mixed with nature in buildings as a creative way to combine living space with nature and improve the quality of life based on clear structures in buildings made have developed. Choosing green walls of residential buildings due to numerous environmental advantages, such as reduction of air pollution, of greenhouse gas, temperature of the surrounding environment and moderation of urban heat island, reduction of noise pollution, lowering the energy consumption and in a word improve environmental quality, can be considered as a practical method to achieve green building principles. So in this article which is based on library research, we try by defining and checking the advantages of green walls and green roofs on residential buildings, introduce utilizing of green Wall in the construction of residential areas, as practical solutions in the realization of the principles of green building.
