Morphology analysis and thermal degradation of aliphatic polyamide/aliphatic-aromatic polyamide nanofibers

چکیده مقاله:

New polyamide 66 nanofiber modified by aliphatic-aromatic polyamide was successfully fabricated via electrospinning method. The morphology and thermal stability of nanofibers were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), respectively. SEM images showed that the nanofibers have uniform structure. It was shown that char yield increased upon incorporating aliphatic-aromatic polyamide into the polymer blend nanofiber as compared to pure polyamide 66. The temperature at maximum degradation rate of pure polyamide 66 increased slightly in the presence of aliphatic-aromatic polyamide.
