In heavy oil reservoirs due to the high oil viscosity thermal methods must be used for enhanced oil recovery. One method that is widely used in heavy oil reservoirs is thermal EOR method that suitable case for our goals is as fast steam gravity drainage (Fast-SAGD). In this study, to increase the oil production by Fast-SAGD from one of Iranian south heavy oil reservoir the simulations of effective operational parameters was performed by using the ECLIPSE software. With respect to achieving the most optimal values for each parameter studied it was observed that the oil recovery factor be increased
