Now a days , In order to survive in competitive market and to harmonize with continual changes , institute need to stablish competitive advantages . Moving toward knowledge and knowledge oriented programs include this advantages . Knowledge leads to the creation of competitive advantages and the organizations that can not acquire their work knowledge and appropriate application of it are doomed to failure in competition field. Knowledge sharing is one of the important fields in knowledge management and motivation of employees for knowledge sharing in the organizations is one of the most important priorities of authorities of knowledge management in the world. Knowledge sharing in organizations reduces the costs in knowledge production and guarantees disseminating work methods in the organization and the organization can solve its problems. The researches showed that knowledge sharing and knowledge use are not possible easily and the managers are faced with many barriers to implement it. One of the main problems of knowledge sharing and implementation of knowledge management in the organization is knowledge stickiness and it impedes knowledge transfer from the source of knowledge to knowledge recipient. This study classified the effective factors on knowledge sharing and evaluated the barriers to knowledge sharing. Then, knowledge stickiness concept was reviewed and the reasons of its impact on slow process of knowledge sharing were analyzed
