چکیده

This study aimed to investigate the relationship of attachment to God and resilience with mental health of parents withexceptional children in Sistan and Baluchestan, Zahedan. (Gifted Children). The descriptive research method was applied.The population of the study included all parents with exceptional children (N=1300) in Zahedan. To obtain the samplesize, in this study Cochran’s formula was used and 193 questionnaires were distributed through applying simple randomsampling method. For data collection, in this study three questionnaires were used, i.e., Rowatt and Kirkpatrick’s (2002)Attachment to God Inventory (AGI), the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28) and Resilience Scale. Results indicatedthat there was significant relationships between attachment to God and resilience of parents with exceptional children inSistan and Baluchestan, between attachment to God and mental health of parents with exceptional children in Sistan andBaluchestan, and between resilience and mental health of parents with exceptional children in Sistan and Baluchestan
