چکیده
Cement Fineness is considered as one of the most effective parameters on the cement properties. Therefore, it has been recently tried to improve the cement fineness rate in order to increase its quality. This approach has been practiced in various countries, such as USA (Tadaion,2000). However, there are issues which are neglected; for instance, the extent that increased cement fineness might affect the strength of mortar and concrete, or how it might behave in different age stages of mortar and concrete, or the increase might lead to any changes in the short- and long-term strengths of concrete. Thus, the present study is aimed to investigate the cement behavior in mortar and concrete. In this respect, the sample cements which had the same chemical compositions were grounded under the same conditions in compliance with an experimental design. This was to provide different Blaine indices. Later, the combined effect of cement fineness on mortar and concrete were studied to understand its behavior better. It is indeed tried to present the experimental results as a basis to choose the appropriate cement type for concrete.کلیدواژه ها
