خلاصه مقاله:
Water-soluble, highly fluorescent (FL) and very stable biopolymer-conjugated ZnS quantum dots (QDs) were prepared via ligand exchange process of ZnS-GSH QDs with a biopolymer based ligand. The polyacrylicacide grafted onto salep can attach to the surface of ZnS QDs to yield quantum dots having great properties. The synthesized samples were studied by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and it showed that the ZnS quantum dots have an average size of around 3.5 nm which were dispersed in the biopolymer matrix. FL spectra were employed to study the optical properties of QDs before and after ligand exchange with polyacrylicacide grafted onto sodium alginate.
