This study focuses on the preparation and characterization of schiff-base complex of the Ni+2 from salicylaldehyde and thiourea. Complex was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis (CHNS), FT-IR, UV-vis spectroscopy, conductivity measurements and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The cyclic voltammograms of the complex can be assigned to the complex is electrochemically active.
