چکیده

A tire is modeled as a toroidal shell under internal pressure and mounted on a rim. Then vibration analysisof inflated torus in different boundary condition with considering the effect of enclosed fluid (air) is investigated. Atthe first analysis natural frequencies of a torus with free boundary condition obtain. In the second analysis, the effectof adding mass of enclosed fluid on the natural frequencies observed. The third and fourth analysis give frequenciesby considering the gravity and vertical static load that apply on the center of the torus and also the static response ofstructure that has contact with a flat rigid surface that represents the road, achieved. In the last analysis exertingcentrifugal force on the torus as the effect of angular velocity. The results show an appreciable decrease in the modalfrequencies in third step (adding ground and gravity). Angular velocity causes an increase in the third step’sfrequencies. Finally, the effects of different inflation pressure, vertical load, and angular velocity on the naturalfrequencies of the inflated torus are studied.
