Achillea is one of the most important genera of the Asteraceae family(DerMarderosian, 2001). Achillea comparises 115 species, which are mainly distributed in North Africa, Europe, Asia and also is introduced plant in the New world(Berner, 1994). Nineteen species of this genus are described in Flora Iranica(Saeidnia, 2005). Achillea vermicularis L. belongs to the genus Achillea, It is known as a medical herb and grows wildly in some regions of Iran. The purpose of this study was to determine the quantitative characteristics of shoot chemical composition at different stages of plant development of Achillea vermicularis. For this purpose, the plant materials were collected and dried at two development stages. The essential oils were extracted from shoot of both Flowering and Fruiting stages by Clevenger apparatus. The quantitative evaluations were performed by GC and GC-MS system(Adams, 1995). Hydro-distilletion of aerial parts of Achillea vermicularis, from Iran, Resulted 0.07% & 0.06%() from flowering and fruiting stages of oil based on the dry weight of sample. Polatoglu 2013 reported to the yield of Essential oil in A. bibersteinii 0.6%(), A. teretifolia with 0.6%() and A. vermicularis with 0.3%(). Totally, sixty components were identified in A. vermicularis Essential oil, which accounted for 95.47% of the total oil in flowering stage and 96.24% of the total oil in fruiting stage; The major constituent in flowering stage was 1,8- Cineole( 20.4%), Filifolone( 16.55%), Chrysanthenone( 10.35%) Artemisia alchol( 5.92%), Camphor( 5.34%) and
