خلاصه مقاله:
Thermal cracking of butane hydrocarbon was studied in which a detailed kinetic mechanism model for predicting of product distribution was used. Three effective parameters reaction temperature, reaction pressure, and steam to butane molar ratio have been considered. Four value level have been selected for each parameter. By using Minitab software an experimental program was designed for modelling steps. All runs has been done in COMSOL CFD software and results of them were tabulated. Yields of ethylene, propylene, methane, ethane, acetylene, and other hydrocarbon products were studied. Results showed that high temperature, high steam ratio, and low total pressure is suitable for ethylene product and medium temperature, low steam ratio, and high total pressure is suitable for propylene product
