چکیده

Regardless of all advantages of multicarrier communication systems, there is a substantial problem called Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) in these systems. The objective of this paper is to propose a robust non-linear method for correction and reduction of signal peaks via utilizing an intelligent approximation of PAPR. The results indicate that the versatility and the variability of the non-linear function improve BER and frequency spectral density significantly. Furthermore, it is demonstrated that using wavelet transform would be superior to Fourier transform in order to improve the BER and frequency spectral density for the presented method.
