خلاصه مقاله:
The present study explores Iranian EFL teachers‟ classroom management and its relationship with their teaching styles employed in EFL classes. In order to investigate the research problem, 100 hundred EFL teachers were asked to complete two questionnaires namely Attitudes and Beliefs on Classroom Control inventory (ABCC), and Teaching Style. The results indicated a statistically significant correlation between classroom management and teaching style. It was found that most Iranian EFL teachers were more controlling in their classes. Also, those who had the quality of managing people enjoyed some techniques: Firstly, they enjoyed a combination of instructional planning such as utilizing creative activities, materials, and drills. Secondly, they utilized students‟ grouping techniques including making pairs and small groups. Finally, they paid attention to room design styles such as using a variety of classroom areas. The results also indicated teachers who had a combination of instructional and people‟s management enjoyed room design as their dominant style .The findings imply the selected teaching styles can be influenced by the teachers‟ instruction management and people‟s management.
