Study of Electrochemical poly (aniline-co-N-methyl aniline)/ silver nanocomposites as a polymer membrane fuel cells

چکیده

The electropolymerisation of polyaniline (PANI), poly (N-methylaniline) (PNMeANI) , poly (aniline-co-N-methylaniline) were prepared by voltammetric method (Via electro polymer) in the following conditions ( with a fixed concentration of monomer in an aqueous solution of nitric acid). As silver- polymer nanocomposites were prepared by cyclic voltammeter method in the presence of silver nitrate. properties of polyaniline, its derivatives and its nanocomposites were determined by cyclic voltammetery (CV), Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), FTIR, UV-vis. Cyclic voltammetry spectra results show considerably the higher electro activity of nanocomposites than polymers. Surface morphology of the coating was determined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), back scanning electron microscopy (BSE) and EDX .it is observed by SEM image that nanoparticles are well dispersed in the polymers matrix. Also, Morphology nano composites are nanofibrous and spherical. Generally, of the data obtained in this project, it can be concluded that for improvement of PANI properties, its copolymer should be used. In the same direction, electropolymerisation should be conducted in the presence of silver nitrates in the applications which require more conductivity and finally, copolymer / silver nanocomposite can be obtained. It is a simple, fast and cost-effective and expensive method and it can be used to build sensors, rechargeable cells and fuel cells.
