خلاصه مقاله:
Technological innovation in health care has always been welcomed with open hands, as it is an important aspect for better treatment and lessen complications. let it be Laparoscopy, RoboDoc, OrthoDoc or Cyber Knife. Robotic surgery is an emerging technology whose applications shed in many fields of surgeries like general surgery, gynecological surgery, vascular surgery, plastic surgery and etc, is conquering the surgery field by storm and designed not only to assist surgeons with performing minimally- invasive procedures, to increase surgical precision , to minimize complications, but they may afford better outcomes for patients than traditional laparoscopic surgery or open surgery. The aim of this article is to evaluate the RS applications in the realm of diffrent surgeries through a rapid systematic review of the online literature in regard of its safety ,the cost as well as the efficacy compared with conventional surgical approaches procedures . The results confirm robotic surgery safety and efficacy but disapprove its cost-effectiveness.
