This study investigates the mechanical and water absorption properties of high performance concrete specimens containing various percentages of nano-CuO (NC) and fly ash (FA). CuO nanoparticles with the average particle size of 02 nm were added at the proportions of %1, 01 and %1 by weight of concrete. Dosage of 021 fly ash was used in blended cement to study the mechanical properties in high performance concrete. Also Compressive strength, water absorption and electrical resistivity were considered observing the durability properties of HPC (high performance concrete) specimens containing fly ash. The mechanical properties of concretes in presence of FA and NC were investigated. The results showed an increase in strength of high performance concretes by using FA and NC. The optimum dosage of nanoparticles was found to be 01 and %1 for strength and porosity enhancement respectively. The best results for mechanical strength at the end of 7 and 02 days were found with 021FA + %1 NC. It can be deduced that the properties of these mixtures were significantly improved by the addition of CUO nanoparticles.
