خلاصه مقاله:
A simple electrodeposition method for the formation of Pt nanoparticles (Pt NPs) on multiwalled carbon nanotube- Chitosan (MWCNT/Ch) nanocomposite film surface was used. The formation of Pt NPs with a diameter of 43-03 nm on MWCNT/Ch was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDX), and electrochemical methods. The electrocatalytic properties of the Pt-MWCNT/Ch composite modified glassy carbon electrode (Pt/MWCNT/Ch/GCE) for methanol electro-oxidation were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. Obtained result demonstrated that Pt/MWCNT/Ch/GCE exhibited a much higher electrocatalytic activity toward methanol electro-oxidation than Pt/GCE and Pt/Ch/GCE. Various factors (Chitosan percent, scan rates, Methanol concentration) affecting the electrocatalytic activity were investigated
