خلاصه مقاله:
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) are being regarded as the main pragmatic solution for distributed environments, it is essential to compose them for delivering a compound value-added service. Since, there may be a number of compositions to create the requested service, it is important to find one which its properties are close to user’s desires. Web Services have different QoS parameters and costs. This leads to the general optimization problem of how to select Web Services for each task so that the overall QoS and cost requirements of the composition are satisfied. This paper discusses the application of cellular automata (CA) to study of Web Service Selection and Composition, this process runs and evolves in a step-by-step manner and is simulated by JCASim program and compared with the same web services in Genetic algorithm method proposed in this paper.We conclude that for the same services per class CA method operates better than GA method and in shorter time selects interested top-k web services
