Three-component reaction between 1,2 diaminobenzene derivatives, aromatic aldehyde or ketones and isocyanides in the presence of calcium chloride as an Lewis acid has been developed for an efficient preparation of N-alicycl(alkyl)-3,4-dihydro-3,3-dimethyl-6-benzoylquinoxalin-2-amine derivatives under catalytic conditions.
