Carbon dioxide Capture and Storage (CCS) is a solution for greenhouse gases extra emission to atmosphere. Post combustion, Oxy combustion and Pre combustion are tree approaches in CCS. In pre combustion, hydrogen is separated from synthesis gas stream. Therefore efficiency of hydrogen production is very important. Hydrogen used as fuel and Steam Reforming is main methods for hydrogen production. In this work thermal efficiency of Pre combustion process based on ATR hydrogen production determined briefly. Aspen plus Simulation results are considered for discussion about thermal efficiency.
