چکیده مقاله:

The study presents the synthesis of TiO2- SiO2- Ag Nanostructured Self-cleaning Coating (TSAN) by SolgelMethod.we have successfully deposited TSAN thin films on glass substrates by the sol gel method.Tetra-n-butylortho titanat (TBT),Tetra Ethyl Ortho Silicate(Teos) and Silver nitrate were used as precursors. After being coated by adip coating method, the film was transparent, smooth and had strong adhesion on the glass surface. The physicalproperties, type of compound and morphology of coatings were characterized by GIXRD, FTIR and FESEM,respectively, and also optical properties were investigated from its optical absorption measured by UV-VISSpectrophotometer (UV-VIS). Results disclose the existence of TiO2 and Ag nanoparticles in the as-prepared films. Itcan be observed that the improvement in optical absorption in both UV and FTIR can be efficiently accomplished bythe incorporation of TSAN thin films, and The self-cleaning properties, along with the formation of Ti-O-Si groups inthe nano-composite thin films. The obtained results show that deposited TSAN thin films has potential applications forself-cleaning and anti-bacterial Glass.
