چکیده
In this research, Ni-B4C nanocomposite is fabricated by electroplating process in watt solution under directand pulse current conditions. In direct current conditions, effect of current density and nanoparticle concentration in thebath were investigated. In pulse current conditions, effect of frequency and duty cycle were investigated. Morphology ofthe coatings were investigated by SEM . Corrosion behavior of the coatings were investigated by potentiodynamicpolarization test. Wear behavior was also studied by pin on disc test. Corrosion and wear resistance increased byenhancement of codeposited B4C nanoparticles in the coating. The concentration of 15 g/l was an exception which hadless corrosion resistance. This exception is probably due to agglomeration and non-uniform distribution of nanoparticlesin the coating. By controlling the deposition parameters, it is possible to synthesize a coating with 0.7 μA/cm2 icorr.کلیدواژه ها
