چکیده مقاله:
Many studies have progressed to find an alternative, renewable and neat energy source. Hydrogen has beenintroduced as a high density energy and clean fuel which can satisfy most of foregoing problems; but there are manychallenges in storage which has been faced with. Recently, nanomaterials have been considered as resolvent. Grapheneas a 2-D nanostructure can be employed in this regard.In this study, the potentials of graphene based materials have beenembossed. Briefly, one of the best theory methods, density functional theory (DFT), has been discussed which has studiedhydrogen interactions in the defective and decorated graphene. Also, a number of decorated graphene by transition metals(TMs) have been included; which have shown promise results in hydrogen storage capacity (HSC). Pd doped graphenewhich was mixed with active carbon (AC) physically, showed 49 wt.% growth in hydrogen storage. Also, fabricated Ninanoparticles/graphene hybrid demonstrated extraordinary HSC for the delamination structure.
