چکیده

This study aims to propose the importance of employing statistical analysis and modelling for investigationon the design and optimization of anodized aluminium oxide (AAO) membranes structure. The response surfacemethod (RSM) is used to study the impact of two main parameters such as anodizing electrical potential and theelectrolyte concentration through implementing the general factorial design. Findings by statistical analysis showedthat the quadric terms of these two variables had significant effects. Results showed that mean pores size of the AAOincrease by increment of both anodizing electrical potential and the oxalic acid concentration Employed statisticaltechnique and developed models can be used as a useful tool for design and optimization of appropriate AAOmembranes pore size with effective performance for various industrial applications.
