چکیده مقاله:

We investigate the permeability and selectivity of graphene sheets with designed subnanometer pores usingmolecular dynamic simulation for Kr-85 gas radionuclides sequestration from air components in nuclear wastemanagement process. Three gases (kr, N2 & O2) were considered in the simulation box in which different pores size weremodeled on graphene sheet. We designed a series of porous graphene as the separation membrane of kr from aircomponents. The selectivity and permeability could be controlled by drilling various nanopores with different shapes andsizes. The results showed, the pore-7 is more favored to another pore for kr separation. Gas separations relevant for Kr-85 gas radionuclides sequestration is considered, and it is important in nuclear waste management process.
