چکیده
This paper presents the synthesis of CoO-doped Al2O3catalysts and addition CuO as promoter , developed byus, with porous structures and high surface areas by the microemulsion method. The catalysts were shown to be activeand selective in the oxidation of alcohols in liquid phase. Oxidation of benzyl alcohol, was studied in the liquid phaseover CoO and CoO-CuO catalysts, using tert-butylhydroperoxide (TBHP) as an oxidant. The catalytic tests showed thatcobalt doping significantly increased the overall activity for the oxidation of benzyl alcohol.It was observed that thecatalytic performance is dependent on the catalyst structural characteristics and on the operational conditions employed.The conversion and selectivity improve with increase of metal loading, change of supports and Co :Cu molar ratio. Inorder to obtain the size of nano particles in microemulsion we used dynamic light scattering(DLS).All catalysts werecharacterised by SEM andXRD.کلیدواژه ها
