An efficient and facile procedure for synthesis of MgO nano petals has been developed. These Nanoparticleshave been used successfully as catalyst in synthesis of imidazo[1,2-a]azinederivatives. High catalytic efficiency,reasonable reaction time and easy work up procedure are some advantages of this method.
