چکیده مقاله:

Traditional methods for bacterial detection are time consuming and expensive and also have a low precision. A reliableand more rapid method for bacterial detection is need. So, this study was aimed to investigate the possibility of usingDNA biosensor based gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) for bacterial detection. For this purpose L. monocytogenes which is afoodborne pathogen used as a model. An oligonucleotide from hly gene was considered as an identifier probe andconjugated to AuNPs. Complementary and mismatch oligonucleotides was synthesized and used for confirmed the abilityof nanobiosensor. The results showed that the designed nanobiosensor is able to detect the L. monocytogenes based onSPR of AuNPs by change their colour from red to blue. The results of spectrophotometry of solution containnanobiosensor at 520 nm also confirmed these results (p<0.05). This study showed that DNA nanobiosensor based AuNPsis able to detect L. monocytogenes and it could be develop and used for various bacteria.
