چکیده
Seismicity of Kerman is connected with young and active faults of this region.Previous studies have shown that different localities of the province have different seismic potentials confirming that most movements have occurred around tectonic ties.The focus of this paper is to explain the different seismic aspects of the Kerman seismicity by looking to the historical and modern events of the region. Historices events will be described based on in-hand information about them presented in different resources. Modern events are divided into two periods. Early instrumental events are ones happened before 1964 and modern instrumental events are shocks occurred after 1964. Tehran is a great difference in accuracy of these periods mostly because of poor coverage of natinal and international seismic ststions for Iran. After discussing different aspects of these inaccuracies it will be tried to give statistical characteristics of regional seismicity emphasizing the aspects useful in seismic hazard studies.کلیدواژه ها
