چکیده

Water and soil pollution with heavy metals pose a threat to the environment and human health. Find an effective way to refine these metals from water is very important. In this study, the removal of bismuth from aqueous solution using modified magnetite nanocomposites was studied. Magnetite nanoparticles synthesized and modified its properties were measured using FT-IR spectroscopy. The effect of various parameters, such as pH, type and concentration of acid, effect of the adsorbent amount and effect of ultrasonication time were optimized. As a result, it is hoped to use the method for extraction and preconcentration of metal ions in real samples used effectively. The proposed method permitted a large enrichment factor (about 100). The relative standard deviation of the method was ±1.75 % (for ten replicate determination of 2.5 μg mL-1 of Bi(III)) and the limit of detection was 3.8 ng mL-1. The results showed that Fe3O4@AAAPTS@SiO2 adsorbent could be employed as an effective material for preconcentration and their determination of Bi from aqueous solutions.
