خلاصه مقاله:
Composite (Ti, Al)CN/DLC coatings were prepared on substrate of 316 stainless steel by cathodic arc method using two TiAl bars as targets and C2H2 and N2 mixing gas. structure of the coatings were evaluated using XRD andRaman spectroscopy methods. The XRD results revealed presence of TiC, Ti3AlN and Ti2N crystalline phases in the coats. Besides friction coefficient and wear rate of the coatings were investigated using pin-on-disc test method. Frictionand wear studies showed that friction cofficient and wear rate of coating was 0/2 and 9×10-8 mm3/N.m Respectively. Surface wear of samples after wear test is observed by SEM. Corrosion behaviour of the coated samples is tested bypotentio-dynamic method. Surface morphology of the samples before and after corrosion tests is observed using by SEM and AFM micrograph.
