This research deals with the nonlinear vibration behaviour of nanocomposite plates reinforced by singlewalled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) based on nonlocal elasticity plate theory along with von Kármán geometricnonlinearity by differential quadrature method (DQM). For the carbon-nanotube reinforced composite (CNTRC) plates, uniform distribution (UD) and three types of functionally graded (FG) distribution patterns of SWCNTreinforcements are considered. The detailed parametric study is conducted, focusing on the combined effect of volume fraction of SWCNTs in plate on the vibration of system.
