چکیده

vehicle detection is a technology that it's aim is to locate and show the vehicle size in digital photos. In this technology vehicles are detected, in contrast to the other things like trees and building, etc. are ignored. This technique has an important role in many computer vision applications such as vehicle tracking and analyzing the traffic scene. In this paper, Viola Jones algorithm is used in order to vehicle detection by using boosting technique. This proposed algorithm is tested in real photos of surveillance cameras. The results are proved the proposed algorithm is effective and strong.
