چکیده

Kashan as one of the oldest human’s habitation has been face with several challenges. This city has keptits structure and dignity with peace and sometimes with conflict. These stories have resulted ininteraction with environment based on cultural perspective. This has made Kashan to become a city withaccord of environment and human, a community that not only copes with each other but sublimation invarious aspects. In addition, Kashan is part of a bigger social system, Iran, which has interact with itsenvironmental area in order to sustain its existence. What have made Kashan sustainable are its affect ofclimate system, applying in its life and accurate effect on it to human sublimation. In this paper we haveexamined dynamic and persistent characteristics and attributes in Kashan using descriptive historicalmethod. We have examined the effect of these periods on social, cultural and environmental aspects inthe city. Our purpose is to identify the historical elements that have resulted in climatic, cultural andsocial sustainability of Kashan.
