Man’s one-sided dogmatic views and behaviors towards his environment are the most important obstacles in the way of making this environment more effective and more creative. Nature has provided the means for humans to settle on this planet. For this reason, we must take a healing approach towards the negative effects resulting from destruction of nature. Endless construction of buildings has challenged the dream of protecting natural resources. A building is a major base of energy consumption. Therefore, a new strategic discourse is required between architects and designers for finding a way of constructing buildings which rely on sources other than fossil fuels for their energy requirements. Through analyzing the reasons why coordination is required between buildings and the environment and through studying the management plan for environmental design as well as the energy living building challenge standards, this study aims to describe the achievements of implementing ecological principles to improve environmental protection indexes in the field of Architecture. This is an applied research regarding its results, a documentary field research regarding its methodology, and an evaluation research regarding its objective.
