چکیده

Iran has had a quick shift from traditionalism to modernism and due to many common points it has with west and east countries, it has faced many changes in various fields in general and architecture in particular. Considering a rapid increase in population and demands for housing, it is vital to use modern methods in construction. Satisfaction is a concept which represents the welfare in society. Today the attention only paid to quantity in space is not enough and this causes these places to be used only by a special group of people and this fact brings about dissatisfaction. The above mentioned facts made us to perform a study with an aim of investigating satisfaction and comfort level of residents in residential complexes. This study is a field one taking a documentative procedure and the data were collected through a questionnaire. In the end, The data were processed through SPSS program. Variables such as culture, national values, customs, social inclinations, and human needs were evaluated. The results confirmed an investigation of satisfaction level of residents as well as identification of effective factors. Some appropriate solutions were also given.
