چکیده
This study examines the role of L١ on English vocabulary learning among Iranian high schoolstudents. To find out, ٥٥ Iranian state high school students from Yazd, Iran, all females, aged ١٥,were divided into control and experimental groups. After being taught in the way in which L١obeyed no rules, the students were supposed to answer a paper test based on vocabularyknowledge as their pre-test. The post-test was held in May, ٢٫٥ months later, on the students’knowledge of vocabulary. The scores analysis revealed that there was a significant differencebetween pre-tests and post-tests of two groups. The results specified the vocabulary learningthrough L١, more successful. There will be room to investigate the role of L١ on otherparameters such as gender or age differences, etc.کلیدواژه ها

COI مخفف عبارت CIVILICA Object Identifier به معنی شناسه سیویلیکا برای اسناد است. COI کدی است که مطابق محل انتشار، به مقالات کنفرانسها و ژورنالهای داخل کشور به هنگام نمایه سازی بر روی پایگاه استنادی سیویلیکا اختصاص می یابد.
