چکیده

The way learners learn is very much affected by their personality. Although awareness ofpersonality type helps learners about their strengths and weaknesses, language teachers seem toignore this truth that each individual learner is unique. It can play a role in language learningskills such as writing. Writing competence builds confidence, which turns into creativity that isthe frequent absent in today’s schools. It has been always time consuming for both teachers andstudents, so it is neglected among other language skills. Also creativity has been under scientificinvestigation for more than half a century and it is still at the peak of attention. This paperreviews some studies explored the relationship between learners’ personality traits, their foreignlanguage learning, and language learning strategies, creativity and also their writing proficiency.Although many studies have done on the relationship between these variables two by two, veryfew studies investigated the relationship between learners’ personality traits, their creativity andtheir writing proficiency.
