چکیده

In this paper, we deal with Iran's agriculture subsectors (Crop, Livestock, Forest and Pasture and fishery sub sectors) technical change and technological bias. So, Production function (a primal model) and SURE model is developed for 1979-2010. Results show that technical change for crop, livestock, forest and pasture and fishery sub sectors is progressive. The mean of technological change for agriculture sector is more than one. Then the progress of technology is tangible and impressive. But livestock subsector average of progress of technology change for 1979-2010 is more than other subsectors. Fishery and livestock subsectors had increasing trend in study period but forest and pasture subsector had decreasing trend for years of 1987-1997. After 1997, this trend is impressive increasing. Technological Bias for Crop sector is land-using, for livestock and fishery subsectors is capital-using and for forest and pasture is labor-using. Finally, we advise to Iran's agriculture decision maker for increasing agricultural production by technical change, policies implement that could strengthen land using in crop subsector, labor sung in Forest & pasture subsector and capital using in fishery subsector.
