خلاصه مقاله:
It is hard to find a method representing the stability of emulsion based on amount of internal phase. Discussing this method and putting forward a new way to evaluate the stability of emulsion based on amount of internal phase is the aim of this paper. In this paper AIP ‘Amount of Internal phase’ demonstrates the residual amount of internal phase in an emulsion and the stability of emulsion, consequently. Image Processing Technique as a new method is applied to appraise AIP. A set of experiments was performed to examine the method and COD was measured. Results derived from image processing and COD tests are in agreement with each other and altogether showed that image processing would be able to be applied as a powerful tool in industrial applications.
