چکیده مقاله:

The connection and operation of significant distributed generation (DG) alters many network characteristics making the existing assumptions of network design and operation less applicable to distribution networks. In this paper, a planning paradigm for network upgrade problem is considered by the Vector Evaluated Particle Swarm Optimization (VEPSO). The paradigm is able to select amongst several choices equi-cost that one assuring the optimum in terms of voltage profile, considering various scenarios of DG penetration and load demand. Also in VEPSO, each swarms is exclusively evaluated with one of the objective functions; however information are achieved from other swarm(s) which are used to influence a swarm’s motion in search space. For this purpose the proposed technique is applied over the ۳۰ lines, ۲۸ buses power system. The achieved results demonstrate the efficiency of our method in different scenarios
