چکیده

The innovation of this work is the photocatalytic-based antibacterial by the destruction of Klebsiella spp.for ionic liquid-sensitized TiO2 loaded poly(methyl methacrylate) PMMA/TiO2 films nanocomposite. It has beenevaluated to find out the condition for the maximum efficiency in present of visible light irradiation. The clearinhibition zone was increased with increasing TiO2 –loaded film until the loading of TiO2 was reached at a value0.01 wt.%. So that further increase of TiO2 doses decreased the zone of inhibition. A notable exception of this workis that PMMA/TiO2 films nanocomposite is efficient photocatalyst in photocatalytic activity test with the lowestconcentration of TiO2 photocatalyst-bearing polymer in contrast of other pervious reports. We undertakethisnanocomposite with a view to enhance the photocatalytic and antibacterial activity should be selected as the idealsamples for continuing development.
