The biennial cost Malmquist productivity index

This paper presents a new type of the cost Malmquist productivity index. When this index is used to measure the productivity change of decision making units (DMUs) between two time periods linear programming infeasibilities cannot occur, and if a new time period is added to the data set the previous computations remain unchanged.
