خلاصه مقاله:
In the present paper, the feasibility of replacing DMDS with H2S offgas has been investigated from the industrial viewpoints in the steam cracking of gaseous feedstocks. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the possibility of replacing DMDS used in olefin plants, such as Marun Petrochemical Company (MPC) with an environmentally pollutant H2S offgas sent to flare in aromatic plants, i.e. Buali Sina Petrochemical Company (BSPC). The limitations of the steam cracking process, such as the presence of impurities and contaminants in H2S offgas, the appropriate injection point, and the safety necessities i.e., the HAZOP study are discussed in the current paper.
