خلاصه مقاله:
The purpose of this manuscript is to model the hydrate dissociation process through a pore network approach and study the patterns obtained by the gas clustering, gas and hydrate saturation conditions and their dependence on system parameters such as pore-size distribution, applied pressure drop across the network, and initial hydrate saturation. The effects of pore size distribution corresponding to the off-shore and on-shore sediments underground reservoirs, input and output pressure differences across the network, and initial hydrate saturation on the resulting gas patterns and on the critical gas saturation are investigated to determine the possibility of gas producing. The obtained results show that large throat sizes, wide throat distributions, large pressure drops, and higher initial hydrate saturation act as positively significant parameters for the production of the released gas. Furthermore, the results truly verify the previous studies in two dimensional regular network models for pressure drop effects to produce resulting gas from hydrate dissociation.
